Here's a great map (if you love maps) of how the charging network has grown. The job is not yet done, but never forget that our country is capable of doing great things.
See How E.V. Road Trips Went From Impossible to Easy
There are a lot more fast chargers than there used to be. Look up what that could mean for a route near you.

"On way 1st day teaching journalism course on covering immigration, met by ICE in Mt.Pleasant at Lamont - agents appear to take father driving young daughter, likely to school. Agents shoving bystanders, daughter sobs it’s her fault-she’d seen car parked for 2hrs. Trump’s America"

The Department of Energy HQ is purportedly cancelling all pending #FOIA requests submitted before October 1, 2024, unless the requester emails a specific address w/i 30 days asking the agency to continue processing.

This is wildly illegal.

NEWS: President Trump is federalizing the Metropolitan Police Department, which means he will control it for up to 30 days. He is also deploying the D.C. National Guard, all to fight what he says is an increase in crime.

New from @lucerowx.bsky.social and the team at @americanprogress.bsky.social: a timeline for implementation of the "one big beautiful bill" that will bring so much unnecessary harm to America.

See details and filter by topic area here: www.americanprogress.org/article/the-...
On July 4, 2025, President Donald Trump signed congressional Republicans’ One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) into law—enacting the largest-ever cuts to basic needs programs in U.S. history in order to fund tax cuts for the ultrawealthy. The law’s provisions have dozens of staggered beginning and ending dates over the next decade. Below is a timeline that details the enactment dates of cuts to health care and food assistance, the cancellation of policies to make American-made energy more affordable, the implementation of tax changes, and the enactment of policies that will raise the costs of higher education.

Is this abundance?

This project was approved under FAST-41, meaning it had expedited permit approvals. It also had labor, domestic supply chain, power offtake agreements for communities attached to it... meaning a whole lot of high quality American jobs and affordable energy just went up in flames.

The Grain Belt Express Transmission Line would increase grid reliability and reduce electricity prices for American families. It’s EXACTLY the kind of project experts say we need to meet increasing demand.

Hawley, Trump, and Chris Wright just killed it, with zero justification.

The Republicans are voting now for massive layoffs and bankruptcies throughout the clean energy economy – a trillion dollar investment in a better future, abandoned.

The world we would have built is so different from the one we will now have to live in.

This comparsion in the NYTimes today is pretty stark. China is racing ahead to be a high-tech exporter of 21st century technologies, while the US is doubling down on being a petro-state exporting the technologies of the 19th century: www.nytimes.com/inte...

@vanhollen.senate.gov summarizing what gutting the clean energy incentives means --> less electricity capacity additions to the grid and higher prices for Americans

– New taxes on clean energy investment.

– Termination of the Fuel Economy Standards for new cars and trucks.

– A new tax subsidy for coal.

It's a collection of the worst, most harmful ideas you can imagine. And the Republican Senate is voting for them now.

But if you're one of the tens of Americans who makes their living mixing dyes into fuel, has the Senate got some good news for you!

Senate Finance has released its proposed repeals, and I sure hope none of you were hoping to afford a better future for your family, or anything.

Who exactly is winning under the Trump administration? Not people like Cody who just returned home from military leave to a price spike in his electric bill.

➡️ Share this video and let us know if you also got a notice that your electric bill is going up.

As much as 72 percent of all clean energy capacity that would have been built over the next decade would disappear if clean energy investments are terminated.

That would wipe out more than half of all new electricity capacity additions to the grid. Whoa.

More than half of all new capacity added to the grid over the next 10 years will be lost if federal clean energy investment is terminated, threatening a failure to meet U.S. energy demands, to raise e...

I used to staff a senator from California. There is no way that anything like what just happened to Senator Padilla would ever have been thought possible before this regime's powergrab. If the Senate does not assert itself, it is lost.

While announcing her intent to liberate Los Angeles from its elected officials, the Secretary of Homeland Security oversaw the use of force against a sitting U.S. Senator who dared to question her.

Things were already bad, and this is a major escalation.

We could have built a grid that would supply up to 88 percent of its electricity without any fossil fuel costs by 2035. Repealing federal clean energy investment will cost us so much.
