D'Angelo was Marvin, Otis, Curtis, and Sam reincarnated with a modern twist. He sang with soul and combined gospel, jazz, funk, hip hop and R&B seamlessly in a music gumbo. He gave us three albums but each of them are timeless and stand on their own.
