I think people can be bad parents without necessarily being bad people, so I enjoy Yujin generally, but I do think there's a very complicated family dynamic between Yujin, Susato, and Kazuma that really seems to have damaged all three of them in different ways.

Okay but. As generally a dad hater TM, I feel like Yujin did kind of a bad job. Like. He seems to have prioritized Kazuma over Susato in a lot of ways, and you can really feel how his emotional distance affected Kazuma. Like. This guy doesn't have a single emotional regulation skill TT

As someone who was subjected to conversion therapy, it doesn’t work. It won’t work. It’s torture. I was hooked up to an IV and made to vomit watching gay porn for two hours per week. I was prayed over. Bibles and the Book of Mormon were shoved in my face.
