A large storm system is expected to hit this weekend, with snow and ice from Texas to the Carolinas and up the Eastern seaboard. The winter system could bring more than a foot of snow.

Who knew my research into the ethics of sport doping and anabolic steroids would intersect with ICE? Kudos to my friend John Hoberman quoted in this article.

THE MAN THEY TOOK WRAPPED IN A BLANKET IS A U.S. CITIZEN.

This is the Kavanaugh Stop of all Kavanaugh Stops.
Sunday, at least 7 ICE agents stormed a house and took an elderly man out into the freezing cold, wearing only his underwear and a blanket.

He was a member of the Hmong community, which came to the area from Laos in the 1970s after siding with the US in the Vietnam War.

Trump, during an "economic" speech today in Detroit, can't help but fixate on "wine mom gangs," saying they're "doing these fake riots." They go practice. They go to areas, they take hotel rooms, and they all practice together. It’s a whole scam. We’re finding out who’s funding all this stuff."

Why are these federal agents in Minneapolis carrying guns at all? Why are they dressed as if they were in lethal combat? Why are they allowed to wear masks? All questions posed before but now more urgent than ever.

According to my sources, the FBI was initially open to a concurrent investigation with the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (the state agency that would do this investigation).

Trumpy U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen heard about this and intervened, barring the FBI from cooperating with local police.
