I know. I’m glad I got to experience both ends of the 90s spectrum, and while I loved my MX5 immensely, given the choice now I’d have a late 3.0 Zed I reckon. So much prettier than the Four.

I always liked the shape of them, species wide body. My dad had a 2.2 when I had my NA MX5 and it proved that one was a boulevard cruiser, one was a driver’s car.

Don’t. Wouldn’t have minded had I been busy and productive. It’s just been busy and deflating. Could probably work until 7-ish but had a really stressful couple of days so there are beers in the fridge.

I was close, very close, to cutting the rubbers off. The old aftermarket exhaust hangers were ridiculously flared. That certainly didn’t help.

It allows me to drive the car much differently. I’m not having to drive around the worst of the resonance. The boom that made the boot plastics rattle intolerably. 😫

And as a quality product the Fujitsubo casts serious shade on the Milltek, too. Car is now much lighter and quieter.
