Erasing our history won't erase us.

Transgender people have always been here — and we always will be.
U.S. Park Service Strikes Transgender References From Stonewall Website
The “T” was removed in references to L.G.B.T.Q.+ on the official site for the Greenwich Village monument, which marks a milestone in the fight for gay rights. Later, the Q+ also disappeared.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

While my mother was in the hospital, physicians decided her reproductive life should end. While she was in labor, she was told that she had to consent to tubal ligation for the doctor to deliver her baby. This was part of a national program, sanctioned by state governments, that sterilized women.
What my Black mother’s involuntary sterilization in 1965 reveals about America today

Do we think this line influenced @brianmbendis.bsky.social to give Miles chameleon-like powers? Always thought it was funny that this is the only power Peter doesn’t get that is listed in this scene. youtu.be/t-0wpPv6O_s?...
