One thing I can definitely say about DT is that if I were to even pitch an episode of Trainwreckords for Todd In the Shadows to cover, the Astonishing would be a great pick. The story behind it has got to be more interesting than the stories behind Chinese Democracy or Razorblade Suitcase.

It's frustrating, Octavarium was the last album of theirs that I really enjoyed. Not sure what happened, but it seems like their music has been just dull and uninteresting the last 10+ years. Are they trying too hard, or have they just lost their mojo?

I'm feeling ya. There are times on my days off where I want to keep sleeping until noon but I fear I'll waste a day if I did so. But at the same time my legs get so tired and sore at work that I have no choice but to rest it off.

Just because Obscurest Vinyl can make entertaining AI content doesn't mean anyone can do it. Besides, OV puts in a huge amount of effort into its work, and not all parts of it are AI (the WFRT serial is a good example).

If he is actually retiring and focusing on AI content, it would be a real tragedy to see him go down that path. He's made so many great mashups and is one of the best mashup artists in the industry's post-Neil world.

A commission from last week from @pembrokewkorgi.bsky.social of Michael in an outstanding Halloween costume - as Deadeye Duck from the Bucky O'Hare series!

A rare example of a character he's cosplaying as also having four arms.

Michael "Tigercat" Harrison dressed in costume as Deadeye Duck from the Bucky O'Hare comic/cartoon/game series. He's wearing Deadeye's stealth outfit as featured in a recent action figure line (instead of the standard orange and red he wears). He's got a space pistol in each hand as he's ready to croak him some toads.

Todd In the Shadows had a great video about Kid Rock a while back, and he hit it on the head - Kid Rock likely doesn't believe in half the things he says.

As someone who stands up and walks for much of the day at work, I can confirm that it really hurts to use the same body part over and over again. It's like my legs want to fall off by the time I finish working!

It really is. Justin Hayward is the only remaining member of the Moody Blues left, and all five members of The Band have since passed on.

Even people from my generation have passed on far too young - Chris Cornell, Dolores O'Riordan, Brent Hinds, etc.

Also, Justin Hayward is now the group's last surviving member. It's sobering that so many classic bands I grew up with are gone; earlier this year the last member of The Band died, for instance.

It would be awesome if Mick and Keith made it to their nineties. If Ozzy can get to his seventies...

RIP John Lodge of the Moody Blues. The Moodies were one of the first bands my dad turned me on to in the nineties, and the older I get the more I appreciate them.

I'm so glad I was able to see them in concert a few years back, even near the end Lodge still had it in him.

The summer season has passed, but it's still indoor swim season! Michael's got his indoor swimming swimsuit ready for the fall.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Village People performed. Lead singer/occasional songwriter/cop Victor Willis has been straightwashing the group for years! Apparently he doesn't remember why founder/manager/songwriter Jacques Morali formed the band to begin with.

I can name a second song of his - "God Bless Canada," a song released a year later that's the same thing with a few lyrical changes. The guy's someone who will do anything for a dollar (and is more faithful to money than his many wives).
