Hi! I'm a French game dev using free/libre open source software and sharing my experience along the way. Long time #GodotEngine user, I made a little video to show you my work 😚. Let's connect!
Asking if one likes an AI generated picture is like buying a photo frame and keeping the store picture inside it, and asking "you like my new pic?"

I released my first game on steam one year ago now! 🥳

It was really stressful but ended up being quite successful for an indie quiz game. And now is the best time to grab it because it's at its lowest price and has all the updates!

Get it on steam store.steampowered.com/app/2847380/...

By the way I have an art account where I post my training/practice: @tk-art.bsky.social drawing mostly on #krita using my hands 🤯 I post everything there, good and bad. I still have a long way to go but I feel like I'm improving 😤
Here's my proposal.

Valve has now rejected my complaint, confirming that "I don't like muslims" is a valid reason to leave a negative review on a game on Steam

This is where we're at now.

I have hours of video recordings of me creating an illustration in inkscape, I thought it would look cool as a timelapse, but since I zoom in and out often, it's hard to watch, especially when sped up a lot. Would there be a way to make that work without having to go and edit hours of footage?

I'm waiting 2026 to get silksong physically on switch 1. I did not like the jump / gravity curve in Hollow knight, is it similar or improved?

8 years ago, I released this game "Lost in space" made in pure JS that plays from your browser for free. Sometimes I wonder if people play it from time to time or not 😅

Working on Multimesh+ for my game, a simple multimesh editor in #GodotEngine.

Add, delete, scale, and paint. MM+ is designed to facilitate the editing of multimesh instances and divide them on a grid for 3D culling.

All available on GitHub :)

There's now an AI warning notice browser plugin for itch.io as well as Steam
The developer behind the useful AI notice browser plugin for Steam has now done the same for itch.io, and they've made it easier to use the extensions.

Homelander is indeed the perfect character to promote generative AI... 😩 The fact that we live in a post truth life now where they think it's a good thing to have homelander promote something is a bit crazy to me.

This is 100% true. Also, fun fact if it's not a 5 star review on itch, it might hurt the game so keep that in mind if you think a 4 star review could help the dev, it could do the opposite. And beyond the algo related stuff, reading a positive review is one of the best thing a dev can experience 😅
Your reviews are so so important to indie games. 500 reviews may not seem like a lot, but to the vast majority of indies it's a ton.

Your reviews largely make or break discoverability for a game.
Taking some time today to look through all the Steam games I like by small scrappy indies (especially ones who are my friends!) and making sure to leave a review for anyone who isn't already Overwhelmingly Positive (which requires 500+ reviews with 95%+ positive)

I recommend you do the same!
