Disagree.

I have served two terms on a post-secondary Board of Governors and in-camera sessions should be extremely limited. We sometimes would go months with none.

This lowers trust, when trust in institutions is already historically low.

Many don't realize that towns along borders sometimes follow a nearby province's main time zone. Golden and Dawson Creek are places that bounce between time zones.
Today marks the end of Daylight Saving Time as many parts of Canada turned the clocks back one hour.
Did you know the first place in the world to enact DST was Port Arthur, ON (Thunder Bay), or that Newfoundland once tried "double daylight saving"?
This is the story.

@westjetcliamline.bsky.social As a gold member, I am flying through YYC and had hoped to use my lounge access. Nope, only for outgoing flights. I spent $1,000 on flights, my airport barely had WJ staff certainly no lounge. Change that dumb rule! This is exactly why people start flying with others.

Along the Kamloops Schubert trail, it is a mix of old farm seed, poison ivy, discarded plants and bird seed, which grow tall and bushy, getting mowed 2 or 3x a year.

Entrances from the highway have beautiful gardens and grass, which I love. Yet when you look inside...

Hoping for a makeover soon

Long ago, I got to become friends with Nova Scotia's finance minister, who was required to take a course with mostly high school students due to his speeding habits. I still remind him to slow down.
We had a controversy like this in BC once, Kamloops MLA and Minister of Transportation Todd Stone got a speeding ticket on the highway, but unlike in Ontario, his government did not then try to eliminate speeding tickets
NEW: A vehicle assigned to a Ford cabinet minister has been recorded at stunt driving speeds 12 times.

The premier's office suggested it was the same driver each time, and implied they still work for the government. #OnPoli

Very concerning to see this warning pop up today on FIRMS.

The importance of satellite data during wildfires is critical to response.

This will have a significant impact for responders. The damage from decisions like this will be felt by many over the years to come.

These kinds of statements need a law to match, so they are punished. We can not be debating with people who wish to continue perpetuating hate towards Indigenous Peoples. Our Charter is clear who has more rights - the person over the views.
BC Conservative staffer Lindsay Shepherd has now deleted her X post complaining about a Truth and Reconciliation flag being flown at the legislature, but of course I screenshot it.

This is what she posted.
