Woke up this morning feeling very nervous as it was my oncology review today.
However I have been told that the cancer is now in remission 🥳
All that radiotherapy was worth it. Many thanks to the wonderful people on bluesky who supported me through it. Your messages meant more than you can know.

Have to consider it alongside the increased number of appointments, tests, diagnostics etc.
More people are coming in the top of the funnel than ever before, so you would expect an increase in waiting lists from that.
But the fact they are dropping while more enter the funnel! Which is amazing!

Man with 6 kids (incl 6 month old) who WN part of the MN protests and was just trying to leave was targeted by ICE with flash bangs.
America, you don't have to be involved to be targeted. Just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Wake up.

Something that keeps sticking with me. I spent a decade and a half as a reserve with the DC Metropolitan Police Department. If you ever deployed OC pepper spray on the streets of Washington, DC, that was a use of force. Full stop. You wrote it up.

They have run a 'Further Faster 20' programme to try and cut NHS waiting lists in areas with the highest joblessness to help people be treated sooner and help them back in to work.
The result? Waiting lists have fallen 3 times faster in these areas.
