Many locations don't exist any longer (including the #music and #cassette shop which closed just a few years ago on Gerichtstraße). A famous emblematic one was the Turkish bazar on U-Bahnhof Bülowstraße (which was closed down bc of the #Berlin wall) with venues, wedding and jewelery shops and cafés.

Love, D Mark and Death documents the protest singers, the harrowing labor conditions of Turkish migrant #workers since 1950s (as well as Greek, Italian, Spanish), constant racism & classism, 1973 Ford strikes and the true cost of the 'Wirtschaftswunder'.
