just an update from when we talked to the reporter: we’ve now successfully connected over 100 families for direct, peer to peer rent adoption. we’ve collected and immediately distributed…a lot.

it is a drop in the bucket, but all of this is. everyone is just doing what they can.

On the up side, more time planning means less risk once the renovations finally – hopefully – begin in 2027.

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵

strong agree here — have seen nothing to indicate the kid in the show was liam other than random people claiming it online. i read it as bad bunny handing a grammy to himself as a kid
Will happily delete if wrong, but all the “bad bunny gave his grammy to Liam Ramos” posts really feels like a case of how misinformation spreads in real time - one person says “it looks like him” and another QTs it like “it sure does!” and then it’s a fact.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
