The way that this administration is targeting and harassing Somalians in Minneapolis is disgusting and vile. Keep filming this because one day we are going to hold these agents accountable. Last I heard peacefully protesting doesn’t warrant being sprayed with chemical irritants.

Respectfully, to other reporters:

If your coverage of Gregg Phillips' appointment to FEMA does not mention his extensive past relationship with the QAnon community, then you're leaving out a significant part of his background for readers/viewers.
Gregg Phillips has explicitly lauded the QAnon community & partnered with the QAnon community in 2022 to target an election software company.

He's one of the most significant figures ever for QAnon's political influence, & he now will have a FEMA position. www.mediamatters.org/voter-fraud-...

We now learn that Fifa had a very specific "ask" in exchange for its "Peace Award" to Trump, with loads of gold trinkets, and that was dismissal of a criminal corruption case against senior Fifa officials. And Trump granted it. Another corrupt bargain, barely noticed (and ignored by US media).

The free speech party that was sooo mad about woke people banning words in school is at it again.
According to a new court filing, the Trump administration has a six-page list of banned words that Head Start locations are forbidden from using when describing their programs.
Among the censored words: "disability," "race," "women," "trauma," "Gulf of Mexico." Short thread with the full list. 🧵

Mississippi adults can freely access Bluesky again, but there's a catch: They must verify their age.

Bluesky blocked access after Mississippi's age verification law took effect in August.

Meanwhile, Facebook, X and other major social giants still haven't implemented the state-required age checks.

WOW. So this is obviously a huge violation of this man's rights, and it illustrates a few things we're seeing broadly:

- DHS officers are ignoring peoples' IDs and instead requiring screening through their own systems
- Confirms @404media.co's reports of use of DHS's facial recognition app.

Phoebe Memorial, the sole hospital in Albany, GA, was founded on the idea that all patients be treated, regardless of their ability to pay.

So why do some residents — including many hospital staffers — turn to a free clinic for care?

I was like dude I’m going next door to check the other hospital‘s price also what’s my name again
