During the Summer of 2021 I decided I had enough black square behavior and would show how undiverse music, specifically dance music, had truly gotten under the watch of people giving us their “solidarity”

I chose Lost Lands Festival to analyze the diversity across its lifetime

This also makes no sense

Uranium mining is lower environmental impact than Li brine extraction, is more carbon footprint efficient because U-238 is more energy dense, and has more reusable byproducts than Li extraction

I have no idea what youre talking about “burned off” thats just not a thing

+you ignore such thermal sources +energy-intensive mining,preparation,enrichment are INSTANTLY BURNED off! (=liquidating Earth´s life,because in 100years combusted heat,accumulated into coal-plants for bil.years)

But 10x10km solar-only surface,cheap glass and +30% batteries are REUSED 1000-10 000x

There is 1 reactor incident every 6,000 reactor years

There have only been five reactor incidents in almost a century of use

Hydroelectric has had 50 in the same time span with x10 the fatalities and ruined landmass

But you would not advocate the ending of hydro power would you? Lets be fr now

-because if nuclear failed,10km is not enough to evacuate,or prevent larger-country,agriculture-meals infestation.
+you ignore mines+waste hundreds km underground

One nuclear power plant has a significantly smaller carbon, personnel and logistics requirement than 10x10km of PVs full stop

A Manhattan sized field of PVs is not comparable to a 2km^2 PWR site and we are decades if not centuries away from PV fueled batteries to compete as a baseload source

sure, 1x1km nuclear plant=pure concrete (and industrial engines)=lot more energy/CO2 emissions to produce than 10x10km solars (=90% glass,only surface,not deep,some aluminium,chips,wires)

You ignore 10x10km security zone around most nuclear powerplants (also thermal,coal) where noone lives

but only if we ignore 3-rd picture=solar squares distributed in multiple UNSETTLED countries,because electricity is transported efficiently.
So 20-30% solar is similar than fission nuclear powerplants,yea? 33% main thermal (in)effectivity, with separ.heat-exchangers,halving thermal-energy transfer

HVAC max range is 100km and HVDC built to distribute power at anything longer than 50km will cost insane amounts all for a power source that is max giving you 200-500MW and is limited to certain parts of the world

PWRs meanwhile can be produced anywhere, produce 900-1300MW and are scalable

Commercial PV efficiency is 20% with experimental results barely reaching 40%

And also…placing a France sized block of unending PVs is so inefficiently dumb

PWRs are insanely scalable as are Breeders to recycle the fuel you can fit both in 1sqmi

Base load off just solar and wind with long term battery storage is infeasible on both a land usage, economic and technological standpoint

Nuclear gets you that perf balance of power density, small footprint, base load consistency and longevity
