1000 followers (and counting)! Thank you all 😁

To celebrate, I will share something from my collection for every like this post gets.

I’ll start things off with a special fanzine (by request) - I Palantir #1 (August 1960). The very first Tolkien specific fanzine!
Cover of I Palantir #1, showing a wizard (Saruman?) clutching to his chest a spherical Palantir that is roughly the size of his head. Vague lines in the background give the sense of a chamber or tunnel. The title of the fanzine is written in Tengwar.

No harm in trying!
Xkcd comic

IT INVOLVED COUNTLESS TINY PROBLEMS, EACH SOMEHOW WAY HARDER THAN IT SHOULD BE.
OBLIQUE ANGLES.
CURVED EDGES.
NONCOPLANARITY.

...I SOLVED THEM ALL.
I MEASURED PRECISELY.
I DID TRIGONOMETRY.
I MADE CUSTOM PARTS.
AND IT FIT PERFECTLY.
NO GAPS, NO RIPPLES.
I KNOW THAT YOUR FOUNDATION NORMALLY LIMITS ITS PURVIEW TO PHYSICS, MEDICINE, PEACE, CHEMISTRY, AND LITERATURE.
HOWEVER, IF YOU REVIEW THE ATTACHED PHOTOS SHOWING HOW WELL THE SCREEN FITS INTO THE...

I have been remiss in noting that I've been invited to speak at this event (I've done the Prancing Pony Podcast quite a few times now) and am excited to hobnob with the Tolkien-heads!

SO LET THEM BURN and THIS ENDS IN EMBERS (yes, both!) have earned out.

SO LET THEM BURN, my debut novel, came out a year ago. THIS ENDS IN EMBERS completed the duology in February. And now every time someone buys a copy in any format, I earn royalties.

I can't stop crying. Thank you so much.
