Always fun to wonder what future generations will think when they see things like "less important to voters: climate change" on polls from 2025.
Public opinion changes over time — sometimes, quite quickly. Dems recently opened up an adv on economics that would have been game-changing in 2024.
Parties that myopically read polls blind themselves to strategies that work conditional on opinion change www.gelliottmorris.com/i/179654793/...

I've now heard the TD Garden playing "Bawitdaba" and "Click Click Boom" on back to back nights, and ... is nu metal back? Because quite honestly it could be kinda fun if nu metal is back.

I am sorry, this is one of the funniest headlines I’ve seen in a long time

Some genuine TD Garden energy!

"Scientific orthodoxy"
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.
RFK Jr. Says He Instructed CDC to Change Vaccines and Autism Language on Website
In an interview, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cited gaps in vaccine safety research. His critics say he is ignoring a larger point: Vaccines save lives.

"Louise is the smartest and most precocious puppy I have ever met, which is a nice way of saying that she is from hell and they kicked her out of hell for being too diabolical for hell. I love her a preposterous amount."

Albert Burneko is, without hyperbole, my favorite writer on the internet.

Jaylen said he played 10 minutes in the first half against Brooklyn because Joe Mazzulla was holding him accountable for playing poorly. But ... was that what really happened, or just how Jaylen needs to process it?

I don’t mean this nearly as disrespectfully as it will sound, but genuinely I cannot imagine being a fan of the Brooklyn Nets.

Just wanted to pop in to say 1) wtf?? and 2) Diego Luna is awesome

Just a heck of a set by Tyronn Lue, from baiting the Celtics into thinking Harden wasn't involved all the way to Bogdanovic sneakily running the interference Harden needed to get a look.
Clippers almost got this to go to tie the game.

I don't know how you can look at the Jordan Walsh thing and not think this is for real lol

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Jaylen missed the box out and then absolutely fouled Oubre on the put-back attempt and was lucky not to give up an and-one.

Watch Jordan Walsh operate around screens and tell me you don't see a hint of Marcus Smart.

If I was an official, I would give coaches and players instant technicals for arguing with me after a review.

if i was a consultant for the nba my advice about all-star weekend would be "stop making people think hard about stuff that doesn't matter"
So to sum up the All-Star Game selection process this season:

24 All-Stars
12 from each conference
Positions don't matter
16 US players
8 World players
2 US teams
1 World team
8 players per team
If there are not enough US or World players then Adam Silver will select more to fill out the teams.
Looks like NBA just revealed the All-Star Game format this season. Two teams of American players and one World team. Same selection process for the All-Stars but they will not be picked based on position. So positionless All-Stars selections.

Jordan Walsh's rise from DNP-CD Guy to Most Promising Fringe Rotation Guy has been very sudden but also very emphatic.

I’m cautiously very impressed by Walsh (and thank you Joel!)

Jordan Walsh was Showing Us Some Things before that shot, but that's a really nice punctuation mark.

I gasped out loud at how bad that pass was lol
Sorry to get on Josh Minott, but Celts had a 1-pt lead and got a stop -- finally had the ball and the lead with about 6 minutes left. But Minott threw a horrendous pass directly to a Magic player. Layup to retake the lead, and they never looked back.

My Hater Take of the Night is that the Orlando Magic will be deeply uncool for as long as they have a Disney logo on their uniform.

Peak 19-year-old Hugo Gonzalez: Ran around aimlessly, ate up a bunch of the shot clock for no reason, handed Derrick White a shot-clock grenade ... then hustled and created the offensive rebound that led to the Simons three.

There is just not a thing you can do about Jaylen Brown right now
November 8, 2025 at 1:45 AM
That was an impressive two minutes of Celtics defense.
November 8, 2025 at 1:32 AM
So when Jaylen Brown said he was "sacrificing" last year, it turns out he absolutely was and fair enough
