This week, I resigned from my position as Director of IT/Tech at an org I truly believed in. I wanted us to stop using Generative AI and was told no.

3 months ago I resigned as a Director of IT because I couldn't persuade my org against GenAI use and I stand by it.
GenAI/LLMs are powerful tech but
-They don't work as marketed
-Destroy critical thinking
-Easy to manipulate
-Immense cost
-Main models run by evil companies

This is why we simply cannot lose focus. ICE/CBP are in far more locations than many think and even when an Operation concludes, ICE stays behind and continues to abduct.
