I hope you will bring it to room temperature before eating?

‪Might I suggest if the reason is “emergency services are responding to an incident” you claim delay repay and donate it to Samaritans! Most TOCS let you do this as part of the delay repay claim. ‬
At £4 per can in our local Coop, I was expecting something a bit special. It was special alright, but not in a good way. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I had a beer this bad! My only hope is perhaps this was a bad can and it is not supposed to taste like it did.

Very nice, good to see the tracks on different levels.
‘hollow meaningless wank’

I am no expert, but perhaps you are doing it wrong?
Someone should write a treatise on the decline of Scottish beer. At one time the Scottish brewing industry was so dominant in Europe and beyond, that Belgian brewers started brewing ’Scotch Ale’ to try and compete.

A Mirage III BE on a training mission for flying without visibility. The pilot is in the rear seat and cannot see anything because of the cover installed over the cockpit.

Wow, I haven't had that in years! I was in the Fat Cat in Sheffield in 2004 when a local TV crew came in to interview the manager about them winning Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival, I was already a fan, but everyone in the pub got a free pint.

A visit to #Monreale 🇮🇹 this afternoon. Located on a slope overlooking #Palermo and the Mediterranean, it is home to a breathtakingly beautiful 12th century Cathedral.
I have long given up on Freddo, as now in my twilight years my yardstick is the price of Schweppes tonic!
I used them regularly on short trips on the Transpennine route and thought they were great. No worries about getting on them after a muddy dog walk.
Wakefield model railway show continues tomorrow 12 October

Some photos from today’s Wakefield Model Railway show. Great show with some lovely layouts and decent trade stands. Very little O scale stuff for sale, but no surprise there.

The is Bob Symes, an amazing person. I have several model railway VHS tapes that he presents. Any railway related TV show in the 70/80s would likely have him on it. You should read his biography on Wikipedia.
It should be a joint award to him and Biden, with the citation stating Biden gets it for coming up with plan in the first place and Trump for helping to implement it.
The Bosch company today introduced a new tumble dryer that is completely CO2-neutral and does not use any electricity. The device dries laundry using a patented "AirDry" process in which the moisture from the garments is automatically released into the surrounding air.
Being the pedant I am, I cannot let this pass. Firstly what about OO scale (1:76)? Secondly, in my world O scale is 1:43.5 😉

This evening’s beer is ‘Chalky’s Bite’ from Sharps. Never heard of this before but I shall certainly be having it again.

I decided a few months ago that really didn’t need any more wagons, so my latest arrived this morning. My excuse is that Brawa don’t make O Scale anymore and their models hardly ever appear on UK eBay. Doesn’t feel as ‘robust’ as a Lenz model, but lovely detail.
