I love history nerds (who may or may not be neurospicy) taking down AI generated slop with facts. The best part is at the 4 minute mark where he casually debunks some AI hallucination by showing the WORKING B-29 optical gunsight he casually keeps in his garage. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSm1...

A bit context: Ukraine is a free country with a functioning democracy, the anti-corruption agency targeting Zelenskyy and those around him is called NABU which at times acts as the unofficial spearhead for the FBI, recently their leadership got caught working for Russia and it was restructured.

The “corruption scandal” Ukraine story is being pushed by the United States to help Russia, the objective is to pressure Zelenskyy into surrendering; ultimately Trump and his criminals have negotiated lucrative land deals with Russia and want to grab Ukrainian territory too.

I think what they are trying to do is set up Hegseth too in the end. Not for charges, but get rid of him. "He doesn't have control of his people."
Yes and yikes. Still, there is an obligation not to obey clearly illegal orders. It is literally in the textbook not to fire upon enemy survivors clinging to a shipwreck. The officer knew or should have known what he was doing was illegal (and wrong). He had a duty to refuse an illegal command.

The leaps are still in progress & the government wants to stop them
20 years ago I sat next to an AIDS doctor on a plane. He told me that if I got HIV & came to see him 'you'd get sick sometimes, but you'd get better' & 'you'd probably die of old age' - the trouble was he couldn't get the drugs into people's hands. He was working on funding that. The leaps...

My doctor: you have some early arthritis

Me: omg, it must be really bad for someone my age to have that

My doctor: no don’t worry, you’re actually a normal age for it to start showing up

Me: ok that’s much worse

Dynamic pricing is sinful & that the National of all places feels driven to it is dark indeed
Dynamic pricing is one of the most exciting areas for future investment in theatre and will help "reach diverse audiences and reduce costs", new research from the National Theatre claims.

There will probably never be another Duke of York. At least not while we’re alive.
Britain's King Charles has officially stripped his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of his last remaining titles.

Charles directed that his titles should be “cancelled and annulled” and his name “erased” from the historic orders’ registers.

The Government measures its progress on pollution against the wrong standards.

Ella’s Law would bring UK clean air targets in line with the World Health Organisation’s.

The Government must make more time in Parliament for this Bill or adopt it in full.
Breaking: @emmahardymp.bsky.social publishes Environmental Improvement Plan 2025. Simon Birkett @cleanairlondon.bsky.social commented: "It's a step in the right direction but far adrift from the EU's new legal standards for #AirQuality in 2030. We need #EllasLaw, NO2 of 20 and a pathway to WHO AQGs"

On World AIDS Day, we remember everyone we have lost and look forward to more progress.

We can become the first country to achieve no new HIV transmissions by 2030.

I am pleased to see Govt action on at-home and automatic testing, and support for those out of contact with life-saving treatment.

I didn't know anyone who died of AIDS. I know it still happens. I'm just slightly too young. But I do have friends who saw their friends get wiped out. The human cost is incalculable, and I'd never pretend to speak to it. But the older I get I'm more conscious of what it did to NY & the theatre.

As in Czechoslovakia in 1938, so in Ukraine and now, prospectively, in Taiwan. “History has proven that compromising with aggression only brings war and enslavement,” Lai warned. But Trump doesn’t read history. His ignorance kills 👇👇
Xi forcefully implied that if Trump really wants big, beautiful trade deal to boast about at home, the US must formally accept that China’s sovereign right to Taiwan..
Suspicions grow that Trump may ultimately subordinate defence of Taiwan to detente with China.
