Another thing about ai is there are already more books written by real humans than a person could read in a lifetime. Why would I waste any time on a book the "author" couldn't even be bothered to write?

I love the weird, gay aspects of MGS. But an algorithm doesn't understand that. An algorithm would see I beat MGS2 6000 times and recommend Splinter Cell to me, an exceedingly straight and serious game and I think thats a crime.

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

I've seen a million concerts. I wouldn't even know where to begin trying to name just 5 of them. That's like a week's worth of shows. Less if you count like an ABC No Rio matinee situation.
