"He took every Advanced Placement class he could, earned a scholarship to Brown and worked at Wawa over the summer to make enough money to buy a laptop, according to his two sisters."
Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov, a freshman at Brown, had a condition as a child that required brain surgery. The experience created an unshakable ambition to become a brain surgeon, his sister said.

He died after being shot on campus on Saturday.

So there is no warrant and no identification for the ICE agents. How is any law being broken?
On redirect, the prosecutor prompts the witness to say that ICE agents didn't wear identification that day because courthouse arrests are meant to be "low key."

The witness agrees.

End of the first witness's testimony.

People said far less about Charlie Kirk, some just pointing out his views were being inaccurately portrayed, and lost jobs after far right groups attacked the people and went to their employers.
Since Very Famous & supposedly Very Serious People at the center of the National Conversation™️ have told you repeatedly that The Democrats main problem is that they Talk Funny & that this is alienating Real Folkz, here is the Republican Narcissist In Chief talking about Rob Reiner z”l 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

And finally, the assault on Section 230. This is the endgame for independent speech.

If you repeal 230, you don’t hurt Google or Meta—they have the lawyers to survive. You destroy the small forums, the independent blogs, the dissenters. You make the cost of speaking the truth too high to bear.
How Democrats’ Attack On Section 230 Plays Right Into Trump’s Censorial Plans
Like clockwork, lawmakers are once again rallying around the idea of eliminating Section 230. That Republicans are leading this charge is hardly surprising—repealing Section 230 is explicitly laid …

This is 100% accurate. Rich white men are accused, it was the times... Minorities get accused, they end up in jail and used to end up dead.

When you have a similar focus on lockdown drills vs tornado drills or fire alarms, you know you have a serious problem..
"Every lockdown drill is a confession of failure. Every barricaded classroom is an indictment. Every child taught to hide is proof that the adults in charge have surrendered."
What Are We Doing to Our Children?
We taught kids to read, write, and dream; then trained them to hide, barricade, and bleed quietly while adults chose guns, cowardice, and silence over their future.

The Bears need to look at their play calling. 2nd and then 3rd and one and they call deep passing plays. They need the first down and then reset.

In the USA, he would have been arrested assuming he was the attacker, then ICE would be guarding him at the hospital waiting to take him into detention to deport.

This is an F'ing joke. They can break every law, ignore the Constitution, and the courts unabated with no repercussions.

The American constitution is broken and unbelievably flawed, powered by a corrupt SCOTUS and Congress.

The most transparent administration...
The White House has put up barriers around the ballroom construction, and told government workers not to share photos without permission.

So if we’re taking our own pictures, they have to be from distance. (I say that as someone who has tried, too, and snapped this from the Washington Monument.)

This would be impeachable in the past
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

You know it's a problem when Facebook has advertisements not about their product, but to promote their data center expansions.
“.. local governments are increasingly pushing back. .. Local officials in cities in Oregon, Missouri, Virginia, Arizona and Indiana have also rejected planned data centers.”

Let me get this straight, if only 36% of my colleagues and partners at work thought I was doing a good job I'd be fired. It means significantly more than half think I'm not doing my job. That's not good in anyway.
