DOJ broke the law today by refusing to produce all the Epstein files. It also broke the law by redacting information other than to protect victims. Yet, the corporate media is acting that DOJ did us a huge favor.

Now, more than ever, help build independent, pro-democracy media. hubs.ly/Q03CbHTt0

My 4th and 6th graders understand this. I asked my 6th grader can you save 600%, she asked if they are paying her to buy the product. My 4th grader said you couldn't do more than 100% but was about to tell me how much the 6th grader would get paid at 600%.

And every friend to the GOP and Trump himself are victims... So they will make sure that they aren't exposed.
Blanche on Epstein files: "Today is the 30 days. I expect we're going to release several hundred thousand documents today, including photographs...now, the most important thing is we protect victims. We are looking at every single piece of paper making sure that every victim is completely protected"

Pope Leo sounds as if he is directly criticizing Trump, because Trump exemplifies evils that the pontiff decries—neglect of the poor, crass materialism, embrace of violence, and bigotry. While Trump oppresses; the pontiff stands with the oppressed

How does demand need to improve? We are in a housing crisis with not enough supply. It just doesn't match up with reality.
Estimates of Lennar's gross profit margins over the next year sank to a new decade+ low -- at some point demand needs to improve or the industry will cut production and jobs more:

And people like @durbin.senate.gov and @schumer.senate.gov allow this to happen.
Just a reminder: White supremacy is the reigning ideology of the American executive branch.
Among the nominees just confirmed is Leo Brent Bozell III, a far-right activist and critic of the fight to end apartheid, who Collins just approved to be the United States AMBASSADOR TO SOUTH AFRICA.

How did this guy get a degree in Economics.
FOX: If you cut something by 100%, the cost goes down to 0. If you cut it by 600%, the drug companies are actually paying you

LUTNICK: What he's saying is if a drug was $100 and you bring it down to $13, it's down 7 times

F: Not a 600% cut

L: But it's 700% higher price before. It's down 700% now

It's not white enough, unreal racism
Republicans and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) argued in federal court this week that California’s new redistricting plan constitutes an illegal racial gerrymander — and not a legal partisan one, like Democrats claim. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

I'd say it would be negligent not to re-sign him next year. He'll likely get 4-5 years at around $18M-$20M, which the Cubs have. There isn't a player like him on the Cubs and he's not easily replaced. Shaw doesn't replace his skill bat to ball skills, nobody on the roster comes close.
And so long as that's true, it's at least worth exploring what he could fetch in trade this year (where the middle infield FA class is also laughably weak) and weighing that against whatever chance the Cubs believe they have of successfully extending him. It'd be negligent not to.

Sure, let's trust the tech bros to regulate themselves... the ones who continue to become rich off the public and have allowed Facebook and other platforms to do so much damage to our kids and the public in general.
TECH: Andreessen Horowitz is laying out a framework on Wednesday that it wants Congress to take up for artificial intelligence, including ideas on protecting kids and preserving a role for states despite the federal approach.

Car and home insurance rates have exploded over the past few years as well, many in certain states can't even get home insurance.
Scalise on GOP healthcare plan: "Car insurance or your homeowners insurance - you turn on the TV, there are commercials w/ lizards & all kinds of other animals that are selling you options to get lower insurance. You don't really have that in health insurance. So we want to open up the marketplace"

We need to separate the grid from the data centers or make them pay a higher rate than consumers.
YOUR ELECTRIC BILL IS GOING EVEN HIGHER:

"The bill is expected to reach $17 billion...That would mark the third consecutive year of record-breaking costs, as the swift build-out of data centers is adding billions of dollars to household utility bills."

And finally, the assault on Section 230. This is the endgame for independent speech.

If you repeal 230, you don’t hurt Google or Meta—they have the lawyers to survive. You destroy the small forums, the independent blogs, the dissenters. You make the cost of speaking the truth too high to bear.
