The only reason you would behave like the NYT is behaving I can think of is that you simply don't care to be trusted by trans people. Or, even more dark: feel like antagonizing trans people makes you more attractive to larger audiences. It's icky, but gay people have gone through the same thing.

I have to think that polling citizens of a country on whether they are for or against breaking their own laws and violating their own supposedly beloved constitution is not a legitimate or ethical thing to do. The fourth estate holding space for crime may be why we are where we are now.

This is an interesting story to follow. There's a powerful news organization fighting against a minority group that raises legitimate concerns with coverage. They're treating the minority group like they'd treat a lobby group. That's wrong.

I mean it's 9am on a Sunday morning and I want to roll a fat blunt and smoke it until I pass out. Being pulled in every emotional direction at the same time results in a debilitating lack of motivation. Likely the desired outcome of the Trump administration's uncivil war on the American people.
I am really struggling with being a human today. I don't know what it means anymore. I certainly can't rely on humanity. The word humane has definitely lost its meaning. Humane = cruelty these days. Humanity = nothing. I'm not sure we are even human anymore. We've ingested too much plastic.
