The Post laid off seemingly the remaining of their liberal-leaning staff members on Opinion last Thursday, when some of them were observing Yom Kippur.

Good to see a "South" that includes OK. As native Okie who lived mainly in the South (Va., La.), I get the cultural difference. But if you're going to expel the native pop and corral them in a territory, then you have to deal with complexity of including that territory in your regional definition.

Federal officer blasts chemical spray into vocal but nonviolent Portland protester, video shows

The interaction illustrates how federal law enforcement officers do use aggressive tactics against protesters who yell and needle officers but don’t appear to present clear physical threats.

There is a joke told in Turkey. A prisoner goes to the prison library to ask for a particular book. The librarian says, "We don't have the book -- but we have its author."

[TOP GUN] When McGillis is offscreen, the movie is a shiny homoerotic commercial featuring the élite fighter pilots in training at San Diego's Miramar Naval Air Station. (1986)

I believe my recent ER visit in Paris on New Year's Day cost $180. They charged extra because I'm over 40 and it was a holiday.

US farmers are saying they "just need temporary help, until things get better."

Here's the thing. US farm exports- which are mostly soy- CANNOT get better.

Other countries expanded their soy industries to fill China's demand.

We've walled ourselves out of the global market, folks. This is it.

This is a wonderful articulation of how it feels to be a Black person in white spaces, who for reasons of safety has to "laugh along with their own humiliation." This man is a very successful lawyer and will never be safe from it so imagine everyone else. Our identity is inherently political. 💔

Trump tonight appears to have pushed the false "medbed" conspiracy theory, which has spread in the far-right internet over the years. www.yahoo.com/news/qanon-c...

In 2020, I profiled a Senegalese American chef with a pop-up in New Orleans. He planned to open a brick and mortar, but he needed investors.

Today his restaurant, Dakar NOLA, was named the 6th best restaurant in North American by 50 Best. I always knew Serigne would be a star.

I'm no longer in a newsroom, although I occasionally freelance. I'm doing research communications for a university.

I singed up for the Xylom newsletter. This is the first time I've seen you guys, but I like what you're doing.
