Tim’s Slow Readers list rolls on. The anniversary of the execution of Ney reminded me i just finished @bri74.bsky.social ‘s Marshal Ney - Fall from Glory. Lots of tidbits I didn’t know. Ney’s always the right guy in the right place, or the worst guy at the wrong time, with little in-between. 👍👍

Once again, I have to advise that you find your local high school and attend their winter choir and/or band concerts. They are inexpensive, the performers are INVESTED, and it’s a really lovely way to build connections in your community.
