I love this channel, she talks about those things that used to really hurt and how trauma responses interact with those experiences. I'm so glad to be in a safer, and more discerning space now.

Some of the most vocal anti-trans women were hurt deeply by how society treated them.

Instead, they chose to project that pain onto people they don’t know, and call it “feminism.”

The greatest challenge for any oppressed class is not to pass the trauma on. I take that responsibility seriously.

I don't know many transitioned women without this finely tuned sense of self preservation. And the ones that don't are just wildly brave XD
I said I was nervous about joining anything like WI for fear of the eventually public humiliation of being ousted and outed in my community. I prefer my anonymous face in a crowd existence. It's easier. More bearable.

I'm glad my gut continues to never steer me wrong.

Life is wild. I transitioned, and now I blush at boys and avoid the women’s Facebook group.

Exclusion-induced distress is not a return of dysphoria; it is a socially-triggered reactivation of previous survival responses. The inner incongruence is gone - but the outer world recreates the conditions that once made dysphoria necessary.

The gender-critical aim is to enact harm, not protect.

cis people: "well, our hands are tied"
December 3, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Things like this remind me that there are *some* women out there who aren't (yet) radicalised into thinking we're some malevolant force out to hurt "biological women".

Most of us are deeply hurt and wouldn't want to inflict harm on anyone.

So it's hard to work out who is safe(r).
As a cis women in the UK I do not understand this, why is there this obsession with marginalising an already marginalised section of society. How in the ever loving fuck do trans people affect these bigots lives in any way, shape or form. I am so depressed at the direction my country is heading in.

Totes. Also, who wants to vibe with duiplicitous people who spout platitudes while stabbing you in the back. No thanks. Like, I don't need that kind of "validation".
"“My hope is that the message that the transgender community gets from this is not one of betrayal, but is one of our desire to continue to maintain those friendships and that support,...when that anger subsides the transgender community will know that we stand with them."

Nope, it's betrayal.

I think this is my favourite part. Judge taking absolutely no shit here. Tears apart the idea that she can't distinguish between trans women and cross dressers, and calls her out on making unevidenced claims, and on still using the toilets anyway after claiming they degrade her!

If cis people really want to fight stuff, fight this. Or, carry on torturing a tiny minority of transitioned women and send all your confidential info to Trump and Musk, who will absolutely do everything to drain your cash, or kill you.

"Transgender to me means to be outside the gender norm - what you perceive as the norm for being male or female. "

There's so much confusion because people confuse binary transition (trans-man / trans-woman) with transgender, because they both start the same, when it's really about nonconformity. 💜
During my life I have been subjected to several different definitions of what being a transgender person is supposed to be. This is my own personal take on this definition - it is a definition of what it isn’t.

Funny thing about GC debates: I keep offering real connection, but the replies are pure script.

That contrast just reminds me how much I love actual humans - the ones who can feel, laugh, wonder, and hold a moment with you.

Ideology performs. 🤡

People connect. 💜

A cis woman tried to run me over today. She was stopped at a junction, I chose to cross. I was a quarter way across and she drove into me - directly central to her car. She wanted to kill me.

Apparently, she owned that road and was entitled to run me over, she said.

The fucking entitlement.

GC discourse is an ideology with cruelty as a core binding practice.
November 22, 2025 at 12:00 AM
GC ideology reliably turns dehumanising ideas into righteous cruelty.

Once you put the cruelty back in the frame, it becomes much harder to treat GC “safety” narratives as neutral or benevolent. They are part of the harm, not simply a response to it.
November 21, 2025 at 11:56 PM
“Protection” in GC discourse is very often a feeling-first, evidence-light justification for exclusion, rooted in long-standing contempt toward transitioned women.

The real, measurable harms – violence, outing, exclusion from services, etc... overwhelmingly land on trans women and GNC people.
November 21, 2025 at 11:54 PM
Dehumanising ideas make cruelty feel righteous. That’s what a truly harmful ideology does.
I'm talking with you because this is social media, and I think you are using it to propagate a deluded and harmful ideology, and I believe we non-believers have a responsibility to challenge it.

still enjoying @thatelizabeth.bsky.social's characterisation of the gc movement as 'men's rights activism in drag'.
At least it's honest, right? Intrusive questioning of women who don't conform to norms about how they should look, and women then being banned if they tell their inquisitor to mind his own sodding business, has always been the logical end point for the patriarchal project that is TERFdom.

It's literally just trolling now.
Today we remember and honour trans people whose lives were lost to violence and discrimination. In a time of increased division, it’s more important than ever to stand in solidarity with the trans community. Everyone deserves safety, dignity, and respect – free from fear and hatred.

The UK is mentioned 443 times in the refugee convention (1951). It would be fair to say that this is rejection of our culture, heritage and values.
