Update on my creepy/dark short story adventure: 25 stories, 41,591 words
As I am tackling this new writing adventure, I told my son yesterday I was inspired by his love of D&D, so I created a short story resembling something like that. He immediately asked if he could read it, & I was excited, like, "Yeah!"
I love that he liked it & even offered pointers. Made my day.

Last week I decided to start writing one or two short stories a day until reaching 100,000 words.
Progress this past week: 12 stories; 21,433 words.
Oh, genre is leaning towards dark/creepy. The kiddos just burned through Stranger Things, & was inspired by a comic Identity Thief, so that's why.
