tbh the reason commissions take me a long time is im deeply insecure about my art still even tho im better at hiding it nowadays
if I make something that looks a little off on my own its fine, I can forgive it or just never upload the pic, but obviously I can't do that for commissions

When you see all the people labelled rude, essentially shadowbanning them under the default settings, remember that literally *every single* rude label has been manually applied by a mod. All of them.
It's not a filter grepping on cusses, it's someone physically clicking a button.

By their own numbers, almost 50% of what Bluesky moderation gets up to is just manually labeling replies as rude. 👍

Another VTuber thing that annoyed me semi-recently was a bunch of VTubers retweeting "fanart" from accounts who have very clearly just traced their models.
Skill level does not matter with fanart, yes, but parading around someone who "gifted" you traced art is insulting to the original artist.

The first time I opened my eyes to not "being the bigger person" I realized how many people take advantage of the social expectation of not rocking the boat. It led to a ton of harassment towards me, but emboldened me to KEEP rocking that boat lest it be occupied by baby-fash and bigots.
I've grown increasingly wary of anytime the emphasis is placed on "you should be the bigger person" rather than "they should not have done that to you"

My only harsh VTuber truth is that like 80% of the people who have "made it big" are some of the biggest assholes behind the scenes who will never take accountability for anything. I've seen several indies who made it large being outed as massive bigots, bullies, and liars since 2020.
