All #welly (reasonably) throwing fits bc the main sewerage station is busted , and they're pumping minimally-treated stuff (sieved to get of lumps and fucking flushed wetwipes). Meanwhile in Sydney (pop 5.5 mill), they have THREE pipes pumping the same kind of shit offshore every day.

And if you have zero shots. Bizarrely, it was somewhat complicated to get the MMR fairly recently, since there is/was some policy that if you are born prior to 1970, you'd had the measles. I hadn't. I got my first vax when in Oz, then argued for the 2nd when I moved back to NZ.
I'm of the age where we only got 1 dose of measles vaccine at school. Last outbreak we had I went and got much delayed booster. Do consider doing the same if you only had one shot as kid.
