Hong Kong was where I saw self-organisation happen - spontaneously, at very, very large scale - for the first time.
I think the what's in people's head and what's in people's hearts matter a lot more than the technological enablers. The sense of commitment to the people around you is the key.

After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.

To the extent you have any education, consult with any legitimate news sources, know anything about what's happening in the world, you vote Dem. To the extent you don't, you vote Republican.

One human rights observer in Maine said agents followed her home, blocked off her street, and came to her door to say they know where she lives. Her children are now staying elsewhere, to keep them safe.
Now in Maine: ICE watchers say federal agents are coming to their house to threaten and intimidate them.
