The sports blocklist is one of my earliest lists & is one of the more comprehensive. It includes all sports teams, sports reporting, sports gear advertisers & dedicated fan accounts. If an account's identity starts with sports, it goes in the list.
I also have a list of sports accounts for those that want to not see sports appearing in their feeds. Like the BlueAnon and FBR list, that is a separate list from the Troll Silencer.

My latest serious blocklist is "AI Slop Troughs" containing accounts whose output is mostly just AI slop-art. The list does not contain accounts who only occasionally post AI slop.

Guys, do not use the Discord Checkpoint thing (Discord's attempt at Spotify Wrapped).
It requires enabling them access to scrape your data, and has an alarming amount of private data being used for it.
Make sure you have these disabled.

I threw this account in the Troll Silencer earlier because they are calling everyone who posts screen shots from Twitter "Nazi sympathizers", including some rather well-known antifascists. #BadBlocklists

I decided not to put @trumpreposter.bsky.social on the Troll Silencer. That leaves one (at least allegedly) unaligned source where one can track what the president of the United States is posting, while still being subscribed to the blocklist, without having to give traffic to right-wing platforms.

by the way, as I learned today when I did this, if you opt out of letteing Google's AI read your emails, you also lose:
- Spellcheck
- Tabs/Categories
- Spam Detection (!!!)
without spam detection there's almost no reason to use gmail
they want to make it painful to remove their AI permissions
