In contravention of all political precedent, after major electoral defeats the Republican party became more beholden to Trump. November is the event horizon which we can’t see past. But it might look like this.

Holy shit. So Elon decides it would be nice to know what region of the world people are posting from. So they add that little feature.
2 hours later they figure out that many Trump supporters with millions of followers are posting from other countries. Surprise!
That "feature" is now gone.

The thing is, we can disagree about all kinds of policies, and still fundamentally agree on some basic principles of government. I think many of us have rediscovered that, which is one good thing that comes out of all this.
What's wild is that I'm not only just as solidly progressive and left leaning as ever, I'm in fact more left leaning and progressive as I've ever been *at the same time as* I haven't disagreed with anything that David Frum and Tom Nichols have said or written in the last decade. Thanks, Atlantic.

There are going to be prominent Democrats and mainstream media voices who insist that we have to "turn the page" and "forgive and forget" and they should all be roundly ignored, if not mercilessly mocked.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

Let me just save us all hours and say that nothing any of us are proposing here - including me - will likely happen in the next decade or longer, so if you want to defeat Trumpism, you're gonna have to understand, and use, the system that's in place.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

When people insist that Hillary or Harris won, but Trump cheated or had powerful influencers behind the scenes or were robbed by Dark Forces We Can't See, or were beaten by rubles or oil or whatever, they're no different from the MAGA people in 2020.

HRC and Harris lost fair and square.

Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.
