Not a bad idea. EU idealistic unanimity vote is impossible to obtain with bad actors like Hungary slowing down or halting every crucial process. We have entered a very complex situation and fast responses are key for our survival.

We are already getting our liquefied gas from Algeria via the Trans-Mediterranean and the Medgaz pipeline. Algeria is the 7th biggest producer in the world in capacity and is not threatening the EU with idiotic tariffs or invasion.
