I'm in the middle of One dark window by Rachel Gillig. I have tons of books on my TBR, so hard choices for what comes next
Good morning Womble 😊, finally some sunshine here. Finished the absolutely fabulous Ranger by Dietrich Stogner last night and now I can't wait for the next book 😭
Starting Rachel Gillig One dark window today
I really liked all the connections to science too as for example the use of DNA, genome etc in the creation of man.
The repetitive writing style wasn't for me though. The author clearly has some favourite words that are everywhere in the book.

Wendy Alec - The fall of Lucifer ⭐⭐⭐
An interesting concept to pair religious myth/lore with fantasy made this very appealing to read or in my case listen to.
But it is the moral and ethical arguments that are touched upon (climate change, humanity vs individual survival, the possibilities and dangers of artificial intelligence) that makes this stand out.
Highly recommended

Thomas R. Weaver - Artificial wisdom ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely great read! Exciting, fast paced, well written characters and plotlines.
Although I guessed some of the ending, the twist and turns are real pageturners.

Shelley Read - Go as a river ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Stunningly beautiful writing!
A story that shows resilience, lonesomeness but also silent strength in the main character. I felt the ending lacked some of the slow-building delicate writing style which made it somewhat rushed though.

Richard Osman - The bullet that missed ⭐⭐⭐⭐
More complications, more characters, more romance and of course more murder with the Thursday murder club.
Excellent entertainment
I loved that this is cleverly reflected in the writing style of both brothers.
The only drawback is the ending where, in my opinion, Peter gets a handed-down solution that doesn't fit for me
it is Peter, the adult that's got me most.It shows again that age does not make you wiser or more adapt to life. It is the younger brother that manages to communicate better with his love interest by being honest in an innocent way, while Peter just shoves everything away.
The story shows them after the one thing connecting them gone (their father has died) and their struggle to build other ways of being there for each other. Although I got fascinated by Ivan, the adolescent brother who finds love in the most beautifully written way,

Sally Rooney - Intermezzo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is brilliant.
Rooney is known for her slow little-action-lot-of-character stories and I guess this is nothing but.
The two main characters, brothers, are deeply human and described with flaws and charm and everything in between.
Almost forgot

Richard Osman - The man who died twice ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The same charm as the first book with the same cheeky humor. I really like those seniors
That is the trick, yes.
New sofa being maud-ificated 😺
Bare godt at hun har godstolene i biblioteket fortsatt. Noen plasser må katt jo sove

A lot of people are quoting this post and that's good because they should, AI sucks and robs us of something special and only mediocre uncreative piss-babies rely on it to make anything at all, fuck AI, p.s. Emma Thompson is now the president, sorry, that's just how it is
