Tune in to @backlisted.bsky.social tomorrow everyone, the decade finale is magnificent.
What a remarkable run. The effort this has taken has to be commended. The quality has actually improved over time, which is remarkable over ten years and that many books. I look forward to whatever follows on Patreon (and having heard the next episode on Patreon - what a way to end this era!)
Tomorrow we release the final episode of Backlisted for the foreseeable future.* After ten years, it's a very odd feeling. I am looking forward to spending more time with my books and fewer times on social media.

* Boats against the current, we beat on via Patreon.

What a joy, to have been even a small part of this! It’s all been a lark.

Two weeks until my book releases! If you have been considering pre-ordering it but haven’t had the chance yet, I’d be so grateful if you did so soon! Pre-orders are apparently quite important for a book’s success so it would mean the world to me. ❤️

You can just make out the painted-on cycle lane on the eastern section of Cherry Hinton Road in that cycling city of Cambridge. This is what happens when local councils are chronically underfunded and have no powers to tax excess wealth generated here. (ARM have their HQ half a mile down the road)

Apropos of last repost, a couple of years ago I went to a drinks party where I was a very insignificant fish in that particular pond. One of biggest fishies there crossed the room to speak to the person I was speaking to. Nothing stopped him, including me. I was skittled.

I did it for the money
The piece by @unamccormack.bsky.social in the latest DWM celebrating the crucial symbiosis of Doctor Who and the city of Liverpool, is without doubt, the greatest piece of writing it has carried this century.
