They need to stop saying this shit. You do not have to show proof of citizenship to check into a hotel room. Also, lots & lots of people don't stay in hotels because they can't afford it.
Sen. Eric Schmitt on voter ID: "Think about it -- you have to show a photo ID or your driver's license to check into a hotel room, right? This is common sense."

Who else already devoured the ANTM documentary on Netflix? I watched all 3 episodes yesterday.

Robin once rescued me after I embarrassed myself almost knocking over a table in front of some Star Trek actors I was hoping to impress. She is a wonderful person! So excited she's joining us for Trek Talks 5. Follow @trektalks.net to stay in the loop.
Logic, carried with grace. Robin Curtis joins Trek Talks 5, carrying the legacy of Vulcan discipline with restraint, precision, and quiet intensity. Familiar. Enduring. Undeniably Vulcan. Trek Talks 5 beams in March 28. 🖖🏻

I feel this in my soul.
I have an automatic pop culture tic where every time I hear the word cookbook, my mind calls up that line in the "To Serve Man" episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE, & I immediately go, "It's a cookbook!" Then I wind up needing to explain the joke, which everyone knows is the best way to kill it, lol.

Ok Schumer.

Fun question! We had dinner and then played pool. I walked him to the subway station and he said “We should do this again sometime” and I said “Definitely!” and I saw him do a little skip down the steps. ❤️
This is an unapologetically sappy feel-good subject (at least, I guess, for people in a happy relationship”). So, to prepare for Valentine’s Day, what did you and your partner do for a first date?

My wife and I went to tea at Huntington Gardens and walked around.
On our first date, my spouse and I spent like an hour talking about footnotes.

Brian Drew & I went to Tribeca Film Center for a screening of the doc Beam Me Up Sulu, followed by a panel with George Takei & co-directors Timour Gregory and Sasha Schneider w/moderator Phil Yu. I was inspired, entertained, and most importantly, uplifted. A great evening & a panacea for our times.

I'm just going to say a thing.

What a person looks like is not reflective of their soul. Insulting the appearance of bad people who do bad things as an outcome or indication of their rotten hearts perpetuates the notion that conventional beauty = virtue, a myth that's led to untold human damage.
