Sanders is right. You should be able to express your views, regardless of how offensive they might be to some, without people attacking or threatening you. OR the government harassing you.

Nigeria is clearly setting the gold standard — in electoral comedy.
I keep seeing people say things like, “Well we’re not going to HAVE elections,” and with all due respect, I think this is both wildly pessimistic and also wildly naive.
We are not going to have free and fair elections. We also have not had them in the past.

Honestly, America has so much to learn from Nigeria when it comes to free & fair elections. I mean, who needs functioning systems & credible institutions when you can just count results in the dark, declare winners before collation ends, & call it 'the will of the people'?
