I just looked it up, and ouch.
Screenshotted from the Reddit post below. I think I paid about £35 for my copy of the box, which is cheap even for the time.
I recall that the No Quarter vinyl box was very cheap as well. I hope this doesn't mean that this happened to the band twice.

To sum up, the label that released his music priced it incorrectly, meaning that thousands of dollars owed to the group in royalties could not be paid.

Yeah, I didn't know about the Waldron connection.
Or the fact that he was instrumental in getting a few Cecil Taylor LPs released.
Have you heard the Finders Keepers 'Cloud Cuckooland' comp? It's mostly the rock side of the Kuckuck label. A lot of fun.
