People who stream video games are not the authority on video game discussion and should never be treated as such or given the benefit of the doubt. Also fuck AI.

If there’s Gen AI in my shampoo I’m going to be very unhappy.
I don’t want to seem out of touch but I don’t actually understand the economy anymore.

Your preferred game being on here doesn’t mean your tastes are superior to others. Your preferred game not being on here doesn’t mean you have bad tastes. Whatever wins or loses, it says nothing about your tastes, what you like, and what you value in a video game. It’s a subjective award.

The “keep politics out of sports” crowd is real quiet right now 🤮🤮🤮
Fox gives Trump a platform during their NFL broadcast to peddle his absurd lies about "prices are coming way down", "we inherited a mess," and "our country has over $17 trillion being invested in it." Absolutely shameful for all involved.

Why the fuck should anyone have a trillion dollars? Do you know how many a trillion is? In seconds it’s nearly 32,000 years. No ONE person is worth that much.

Friendly take as we get closer, the Game Awards are more marketing than they are award show and should be treated as such, not taken so seriously.

Corporate workplace final boss
October 24, 2025 at 12:24 AM
Your default position when dealing with any corporate entity and the c suite managers that run them should be to assume that their top priority above all else is to make money for those who invest in them, video games included.
Retail cost of games doesn’t matter as long as the corporations are profit based and will prioritize exploitative shareholder payouts over stability and good wages for its workers.

Maybe we need to stop treating Pokémon like it’s the height of human artistic expression and learn to engage with it for what it really is: a product designed to make money. It’s the reason they’re made so cheaply, it’s the reason there are two versions. And it’s still fine to enjoy them as games.
