I talk about rpgs and have published a couple of microgames, available at https://unseenlibrarian.itch.io/

Spork and Stork of Vulcan do get why humans find it funny to meet them at the same time, but are mystified why they're like that when meeting them individually too.
And then someone actually does it, and we cry.
Getting my Fallout examples going for Hollywood Underhills. Next up, Cash Stress, which will include both "You had to pawn your gun" and "You pawned your gun and someone bought it to use in a crime" as moderate upgrade of that.
Since it's that time of year, if you've ever wanted a light system for being trapped on a space station that's been bought by a legally distinct Spirit Halloween and having to do crimes to get away, well, see the itch link below.

Welcome to Scarytown, the 24xx RPG where your corporate-owned space colony got bought by the last resort of all corporate-owned things: A Halloween-themed popup storefront. You'd probably kill someone to get out and someone else might pay you for it!
That may have been the CEO, who at one point tried to kill his own gut bacteria to remove the need to poop.
You know I bet you could do farm mechanics with Blades if you started from the idea of 'farm mechanics' as something like the yearly resource allocation stuff from King of Dragon Pass/Six Ages.

And then you've even got a reason to go on heists, you're raiding the neighbor's tula for cows.
"Explode into a flock of small flying animals" does seem like a useful trick to include, at least. Let the Mansquito become a swarm of regular mosquitos, etc. Psychics pretending to be wizards becoming a bunch of corvids, as they do.
Many people have a Shadowrun fix inside them, waiting to get out.

Mine turned out to be Bloodshadows instead, but many other people.
Looking at my copy of Mutants in the Now/Next and realizing that you can work from vampire bats as your base animal -and- be a human born mutant and finally, an RPG where you can begin to Morb. Not sure if this is an endorsement or not actually, come to think about it.
I honestly kinda liked the game as the early 4E Heartbreaker that it was, but...yeah. Yeah.

(The creator mysteriously vanished from the internet around the time the first Covid wave hit so I suspect it wasn't entirely a 'the name had serious discoverability problems' that killed it.)

Imagine being dumped into the world you built as a shitty teenage dungeon master. Now imagine it funny. Okay, funnier. Funnier than that. Page-turningly funny. Okay - go back Cringe Wizard.
My light novel about a guy reliving his own bad TTRPG campaign is almost funded. If it looks interesting (or you know anyone who might be into it) we just need a little push to get it over the line 🙏
CRINGE WIZARD: A TTRPG Isekai Light Novel
A light novel about a guy forced to live through the terrible TTRPG campaign he ran when he was a teenager.

Andrew Dice of Carpe Fulgur has passed. This is devastating. Not only did Recettear have a big impact on me, so too did their decision to found a company to translate indie games. It was incredible to see them go all in on their dreams like that. Respect to both of them. We’ll miss you Andrew.
Greg Stolze might be someone to reach out to- I know he's done novel kickstarters as well as RPGs.
If I had a nickel for every time someone accidentally replicated real world racist tropes with D&D style gnomes I'd have like...4-5 nickels now? I dunno man, it just keeps happening. In different ways?
Dwarf Elf, as in a dwarf who somehow has the old "Being an elf -is- your class" class.
If I had a nickel for every time I started playing a 9 foot tall/3 meter giant melee/close range combat character in a game who somehow ended up the party stealth/intrusions specialist as well I'd have like, 3 nickels, which is starting to form pattern of giants you can't see clearly.
Digging up some old Feng Shui 2e homebrew and considering how to stick this gimmick into other games because look, nineties supernatural procedurals had this shit all over whenever you had a guy who could be shoved into a period outfit and made to reflect on his past.
Hearing reports that the leopard who eats faces has complaints about portion size of most recent meal.

100 days ago, I clicked Itch's "initiate new payment" button. I still haven't been paid.

Inspired by this disappointing turn of events, I am pleased to present this survival microRPG about a fellowship seeking fortune to avert the starvation of their families.

Now pondering how to build a class that supports the Nero Wolfe/Lamont Von Helitz/The Dead Man style of "detective who never leaves their home and relies on information brought back to them by other characters." Probably a later supplement/sourcebook, I don't want to keep adding new classes.
Hell, one of the big fictional enchanter/swordsmen from the chansons was literally also a paladin, one of the 12 peers.

Are you threatening people with Powers and Perils again? I thought we agreed not to threaten people with Powers and Perils.

It is one of the ingredients I'm tossing into my retroclone soup with SPI's Dragonquest, admittedly Sometimes the urge hits to have paragraphs labeled by multiple decimals.
