Posting to update - there's a bill semi passed in the state Senate about assisting ICE, the rumbling about ICE booking out Indy hotels seems to be ~3 Threads users who aren't providing a single source and in one case unwilling to do so publicly. Just making sure I'm doing due diligence.

I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity

so you're aware part of the reason ICE keep getting away with it is y'all going "but this person was a US citizen" - this is not acceptable regardless of your status in this country and creating categories of appropriate harm is participating in fascism

The cause is very close to me, they helped both of my parents through cancer. My mum very sadly passed away late last year. Both my parents were keen fundraisers for the charity, my mum even participated in a walking event mere weeks from finding out her cancer had spread terminally.
