It's happened again this time with a high schooler they started whispering "6 7" when I was checking their mom's prescription and when it was their turn to have their glasses prescription checked they were like "6 7...!" and their mom had to tell them to cut it out
A patient brought their grandchild with them and during the exam when I was checking for glasses I was doing the classic "which is better, 1 or 2" but when I got to "which is better, 6 or 7" the child very excitedly whispered "SIX SEVEN..." and I tried not to laugh

I find it really funny that people in other countries like to clown on the MM/DD/YYYY format because when you talk about what day it is, verbally you say the month first then the day right?
We really should be standardizing MM/DD because in Asia they got the YYYY/MM/DD and I'm 🤝 with that
