I hope Dems begin to see that moderate or progressive, AIPAC is not our friend.

They endorse January 6th insurrectionists. Yet if you so much as suggest the US uphold its own Leahy laws, no matter your record, they will work against you.

a woman reached out to donate 500,000 delta skymiles to get people home to MN as they are released from custody in TX.

we're getting flights booked today. it should be enough to get at least 15 people home.

delta should be doing for free since they take ICE money.

If I’m being asked to choose between empowering something which may work against my values at a later time or letting these bastards go unpunished for fear of that eventuality, it’s door #1 every time.

Biden taught them that there would never be consequences. That needs to be unlearned.

And for Christ's sake, embrace the shutdown.

If they don't want a shutdown? Great. Either they meet your demands or they change the rules for cloture and everything after that is 100% not your doing.

If they do? This "essential employee" would love for you to let them have it.

It's not like Mike Johnson's taking any input from Democrats except in the very rare circumstance that enough of his members defect and force him to, and Swalwell's been present for those. These are 95 votes well skipped.

I'd be proud to call myself Canadian if they'd have me. I'm embarrassed to think of myself as an American.

You guys aren't presenting charges to a grand jury. You're free to use words as they are commonly understood, especially when there's overlap with the statutory definitions of these acts.

An agent of the state fired at an unarmed and prone man until death was certain. How much more do you need?

They'd better do something before that mid cycle redistricting amendment comes up in April.

I don’t accept legal formalism as a defense for voting to further an obviously unjust act.

Do you believe that if the subpoena were aimed at someone closer to them politically, they would have voted for it? Because I don’t.

Because we've lived through the last ten years and this committee forfeited any presumption of legitimate inquiry when it refused to accept a public hearing as a condition of testimony.

It would be a slug O-7+ who left the uniformed side for a mere civil service position below deputy secretary.

Most of them, if they want to keep working, get executive roles or directorships with companies doing business with their former employers, and those companies are into this all the way.

Christianity as a doctrine will survive intact. Its reputation may not recover with non-evangelicals. But then again, maybe that's what God would want.

The pan from Ellie happily painting the nursery to Ellie crying her eyes out with Carl helplessly looking on in the OBGYN's office was probably the most devastating five seconds of movie I've ever seen. Right there with the hardest parts of Wit.

Maybe instead of this MGM Oxon Hill could invest in some real security for their parking garage. r/nova regularly has photos of cars sans tires balanced precariously on milk cartons the thieves tucked under the middle.
