I'm heartbroken, I'm proud, I'm a multitude of things I can't fully verbalize but I hope that this ends before we all lose the sky and the warm faces and hands that bring us a little light and joy every day. I love you all I love you all I love you all.
Hi friends, I am sharing this with permission. This is a newsletter I subscribed to from a woman who is a quilter. I started following her on YouTube a little over a year ago when I started my quilting journey, she lives in Minnesota.

It's really indicative of why we're still having this battle more than 5 years on. People don't want to have the conversations about queer books or queer kids. It's easier to point to The Handmaid's Tale or 1984. Otherwise, we'd have to address society's deeply-baked homophobia.

While the pelvic thrusts do give me a cringe now, this song has been in my head for days. It still slaps , and we love a band that said let me talk to yall about people stealing genius' work. Can't imagine WHY it's been in my head.

Just started Stranger things season five and idk If I just outgrew the show, the nostalgia death trip or everything about celebrities I never wanted to know- or what but the first episode was awful, and an utter pox on the sound effects team for the chewing noises but bless those who CC.

I will never be one for graphics so instead, I decided to hand write a list of the books I loved the most this year. They are in no particular order, but I think if you threatened to take my lunch money to pick I would be hard-pressed to choose between The Antidote & The Buffalo Hunter Hunter❣️

The store I work for was the other day, the third highest grossing store in the entire company. I’m so immeasurably proud of my team and a community that is is consistently supporting reading. I’m so lucky to work in the store that I do . Fostering a great community of readers matters so much.
