Right but when does appeasement turn into complicity? When is not okay anymore for our government to ignore what the Trump administration is doing? And if they don't come out and say its wrong, aren't we losing our identity and culture? Are we still sovereign then?

Okay, so our RCMP make an accusation, like they did with India, but the economy wins in the back rooms of this government? Do they test us on the border with drones like Russia is doing? I doubt there's enough force to spare in Europe to make any type of stand here.

So what then? I've seen some analysis, back in the earlier days of this rhetoric, that the US will do everything they can to avoid an actual invasion, but in the months since things have steadily ramped up. They appear to be trying to make us appear adversarial now.

Not to be the Debbie-downer here but its a bit late for all that, isn't it? Isn't it a 2-3 year time line to get the military into competent shape? If Trump has his eyes on our border, what chance do we have of doing anything about it? Seriously.
