It's looking pretty plain. We're on the menu, guys. I guess the AB separatists will finally shut up, seeing as this was always their purpose.
Trump also just posted an image of his meeting with European leaders from August, but edited to feature a map of North America covered in the US flag -- including Canada

Better, More Profitable Alternatives to a New West Coast Pipeline

1. Optimize existing infrastructure
2. Create a domestic market for bitumen instead of shipping it to foreign markets

May we at least have this conversation, @MarkJCarney?

We desperately need bold ideas and huge changes! I like what Im hearing from Lewis and rebuilding the NDP is an imperative part of our Canadian democracy.
Canada's true crisis is the everyday emergency of just trying to get by in an impossible economy.

I’m running for NDP leader so we can transform a system rigged for the rich—together.

We need a government that serves the many, not the money.

Always great reporting from The Sprawl and with the scathing report on the priorities of council/city admin the last 20 years, the name has never felt more on the nose.
Calgary city hall knew that a crucial water pipe could blow. But the ways in which city hall *didn’t* know—or kept itself from knowing with clarity—are perhaps more telling. #yyccc

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
When Aberhart's own constituents got enough signatures to recall him, the party repealed the legislation. Despite this, Aberhart and the Social Credit did win the 1940 election. Aberhart died suddenly on May 23, 1943 in Vancouver and was succeeded by Ernest Manning.

But the message is clear: the Recall Act has opened a floodgate of discontent that no one anticipated.
