Mine rarely gets used these days, but it's got removable, dishwasherable plates, which makes clean up so much easier. Kinda fancy a cheese toastie now.

Made a Giant Thing.

(Regular sized Thing for scale)

A ginormous party ring (9 inch diameter) next to a regular sized party ring on a round wooden board. Both biscuits have purple icing with the white feathered lines; the larger one is darker and less pink than the original because colour matching is not one of my strengths.

Little came home from school very excited to tell me that she'd learnt when Google was founded, and how "that means you're older than Google!" She was shocked (and weirdly baffled) when I pointed out that I'm older than the Internet itself.

The only redeeming feature of being as short-sighted as I am is that my reflection in the hairdresser's mirror is an unrecognisable blur. I am absolutely certain that I do look like a potato, but if I can't see it, it doesn't count.
