I feel like maybe Warhammer 40k's focus on humanity vs Xenos would make more sense if the Tau and Eldar didn't exist.
I don't mind space elves, but those probably should have been a "subrace" of humanity. Like we got Beast Men, Nocturnians, and Felinid, but Eldar look more human than they do.
