The DA says his office will collaborate with the state attorney general for any state level investigations into federal LE actions. But adds that the county DA can only investigate cases referred to it by local law enforcement. That hasn't happened so far. (4/X)

Requiring bodycams is a shitty reform that doesn't actually do anything, especially here where the DHS is doing so WITHOUT any concurrent legal requirement to share footage with victims of their violence.

I don't think tearing families apart in a recent swing state is gonna go how Republicans think. People in every city and town have been standing up for their neighbors.
Families in Springfield, Ohio are making contingency plans for their children in case they don’t come home. ICE is expected to target a city of 15,000 Haitian immigrants next. After Minneapolis, Portland, and Charlotte, fear is spreading—and so is the resolve to protect neighbors.
