However, because Alice disappeared, I wasn’t as excited for this Halloween as I’d thought I’d be this year. I spent my days going to my classes, and then coming home just to miss her. I didn’t have the energy to go out with Blessing, even though she said we could do a Halloween costume together if I wanted. This, as well as several attempts to hook me up with girls, guys, and non-binary people alike was her way of trying to get me to move on from Alice. She figured Alice wasn’t ever going to come back to me, as any regular person would after someone had been gone without a trace for two months. In a way, she was right, just not quite the way she thought she was.

“I’m sorry I lied to you all.” Alice said, mostly to herself. “But I needed these cages free. There are so many of them, and there are so many people in the above world that belong in them. You will kill them, bring them here, and their children will be left alone to be under my control. Just like how I was. It’s what they all deserve.” This twist of hers brought hysterical, screaming laughter to Alice. She spun around in the sea of her mindless minions surrounding her, reveling in their misery and their despair, almost feeding off of it as if she needed it to survive. Once again, Alice felt unstoppable.

I love animation so, my series will definitely be animated in the same style as the Miles Morales Spiderman movies, it’ll be gorey n emotional.

As I was about to start my makeup around 3:30 PM, Alice came out of the bathroom with her outfit, her shirt fully buttoned but untucked. “Maybe I shoulda chosen a different shirt.” Alice said, holding her arms up awkwardly. “It’s too long and boxy.” “You just gotta tuck it in. You’ve seen me do that with skirts before, right?” I asked. When Alice still looked a bit confused, I came over and unzipped her skirt to try to tuck her shirt in for her. She hopped backwards in fear, and I gasped. “I’m sorry!” I exclaimed, quickly realizing my mistake. “Don’t worry, I’m just tryna help tuck your shirt in. I won’t ever take anythin’ off unless you want me to — but I’m sorry, I shoulda asked first.” I didn’t realize how much that truly meant to her, for her body and her boundaries to finally be respected by someone who found her attractive. So, when she sighed with relief and hugged me, I was a little shocked, but I hugged her back nonetheless, holding her close for a while.

I was looking at those custom name bamboo earrings on Etsy, and in my cart now, I deadass have one with my actual name and another with my deadname to convincingly hide the former from her.

“Okay, I’m going to take the picture — no need to smile, it’s going to take a while…” Alice had only taken one other picture in her life, but she quickly remembered what he meant by “no need to smile”. The shutter on the camera took twenty seconds to fully close and reopen. Alice felt this was tedious, and wondered why Hattie spent all morning and yesterday getting them ready just to take this picture. It felt unnecessary.

What do you actually know ‘bout that girl other than what you told [The Narrator]?” “Nothing? I mean, when that mansion was set on fire, she presumably left with everyone else, and I found an Alice Liddell living briefly with the couple that lived in that museum actually, but — but I couldn’t find anything else, and I’m not even sure that was the same girl. So, I just assumed that she left Maryland and had children somewhere else, and that her descendants — that you somehow made it back here, because it was like she just disappeared without a trace, like she never existed. Then, I tried to trace you backwards instead, but… it’s like you don’t exist either!”

I honestly don't really have one, as I write on circumstance, not routine unfortunately. However, I try to grab a drink or something. Sometimes I'll set a timer with a writing sprint bot on Discord to really get the juices flowing.

Hunter crossed the street without looking for approaching cars, or even using the crosswalk, even though it was right there. Then, he turned around and saw Harper still standing on the other side of the street, looking stunned. “Why did you just jaywalk?!” Harper called out, having to cup his hands and yell over the cars that came down the street at this time. Hunter slapped his forehead and beckoned him to follow after the cars passed. After looking both ways, Harper ran across the street the same way. “You do realize that I am not the only person who jaywalks, right?” Hunter asked. “Yeah, but you coulda died doin’ that dumb ass shit on this street, the cars comin’ down here are ruthless.” “Awh, we just met, and you already care about whether or not I die? That’s so sweet of you.” Hunter’s tone was dripping in sarcasm, which Harper noticed. Harper sucked his teeth again. “Man, aight. My bad I ain’t wanna see you get ran over.”

Alice sips her tea slowly, and everyone sits in silence, waiting for Linda to show up. Eventually she does, looking visibly disheveled and worn out. “Linda, you’re here at last.” Madigan says, staring at her curiously, obviously trying not to laugh. “Oh my… what happened to you?” Vladimir, Viktor, and Alice try to cover their mouths and stifle laughter, but are ultimately unsuccessful, as their laughter comes out involuntarily through their hands, and all it took was them all making eye contact for them to burst out laughing at Linda. It was a weird moment for Alice, because it was the closest they’ve been since she was a kid.

When Alice got close enough to see, she realized that Vladimir and Viktor were pushing their cages together, and when they collided, she could just barely see Rani grab Rezina’s hands through the cages. She certainly looked less rough than before, and her mind seemed more sound now that her entire family was there. They seemed to have made up with Vladimir and Viktor as well. As Alice approached them, she heard Rani ask, “Hey, I just noticed… Vladimir, Viktor, why are your eyes blue?” “What?” Rezina asked. “Their eyes are blue. They’re usually red, right?” Rezina shook her head frantically, and Alice giggled when she realized that Rezina was thinking of her. “No… Vladimir, Viktor, where is Alice?” “She went to take her rightful place as the ruler of Wonderland.” They answered together.

[REDACTED] stared for a bit, then shakily took a swig of the bottle and immediately spit it out. Blood started running down her chin as Alice burst out laughing. “Oh! I knew that one was blood, but I wasn’t sure. I was stuck between two of ‘em.” She continued laughing, as [REDACTED] started hyperventilating again. “Wha — you just made me drink blood?!”

Alice and Priscilla sit down on the bed, and Priscilla takes out the rest of Alice’s hair, frowning as she realizes how easy it was. “I shoulda known you were lyin’.” Priscilla scoffed. “You’ve never braided tightly in yo’ life, that’s why Mary always did yo’ hair for you. What do you want, Alice?” Alice stood up, went back to her vanity table, and paused for a second. She heard Hattie and Edward’s room door close, and then said, “Nothin’. You can go.” She started brushing out her hair again. “I’m sorry?” “Are you deaf? I said, you can go. Ion want you in here.” “Then why —” “I’m sorry, were you okay wit’ Edward tryna fuck you? Did you wanna fuck him?” Alice said, spinning around sharply. Priscilla said nothing. “It was goin’ too far, so I interrupted him.” Alice finished, turning back around and continuing to brush her hair. “You’re welcome. Get out.”
