U.S. District Judge April Perry says it comes down to a "credibility determination."

"I simply cannot credit [the Trump administration's] declarations to the extent they contradict state and local law enforcement. … DHS' perception of events are simply unreliable."

#BREAKING A federal judge say she will grant "in part" a request by the state of Illinois for a temporary restraining order against the deployment of National Guard troops into the state.

U.S. District Judge April Perry is still ruling and has not outlined the details of her order.

You must defer to the president’s determination that there is an armed rebellion in Chicago, argues the govt’s lawyer.

That’s the Trump admin’s stance on everything. When the law doesn’t allow it, lie about the facts until it’s something that would be legal, then insist others live inside the lie.

Perry: DOJ's definition of rebellion would mean that
"literally all nonviolent protest” could be considered evidence of rebellion. Is that your argument?
Hamilton: The president has determined there is a danger of a rebellion, and you must defer to that finding

Everything the government does is for online clout because *that is the only thing that's actually real for them*

Is a good idea just in case someone runs across it and plugs it in. That way they can’t reset/erase it and claim it.

I have a couple. I test iOS software as part of “things that allow me to purchase good and services” lifestyle.

Most recent iPads will remain findable for a few weeks even when they don’t have enough power for use. If it’s been a while, that could be part of the problem, but marking it lost

Mark it as lost just in case? :-(

This is so damn scary. The book claimed that Jeffrey Epstein was the one who introduced Donald and Melania. Now the CEO of Harper UK is out.

“But TRPA’s Regan said the Tahoe Basin isn’t anywhere near its capacity for development. “

Has this astute observer ever seen Interstate 80 West in Auburn on a Sunday between April and October?

Sure, let’s have thousands more people circle a two-lane road around a lake every weekend. Forever.

You should have to pay $100 to enter the Tahoe basin. You can a return of your fee if you leave within a few hours, on a sliding scale.

In this case, if I did make the rules, the entire Tahoe basin would be a massively protected area.

Hit a bear? Go to jail. Have a house build since 2010? Pay.

This is maddening.

In the past 30 years, California has experienced a rush toward the outdoors, like no one’s ever seen before, and we have not dealt with it.

I’m personally sick and fucking tired of people bringing everything they own up to Tahoe for 48 hours, starting a fire and then leaving.

Can’t believe I have to say this, but in Minnesota you will continue to have the freedom to get your COVID and flu shots.

Adelita Grijalva won her election fair and square.

Now House Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to swear her in because she would be the final signature to release the Epstein files.

Mr. Speaker, respect democracy. Obey the law. Swear Representative Grijalva in immediately.

It’s the exact argument you’re making.

You argued that people should be able to move from one fare class to another because a seat is empty.

First class is just a fare class with assigned seats just like economy plus (exit row), my dude.

I don’t make the rules but I do try to understand them.

Oh and you have opinions about what the FAs should care about, too.

Adorable. I bet you love it when people make assumptions about why you perform your work the way you do.
